This Refund Policy applies to Guftagu AI, an AI chatbot platform for websites and businesses. We want our pricing and billing to be straightforward, especially for subscriptions, top-ups, and AI usage credits.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has started, except where required by applicable law or where we determine that a refund is appropriate due to billing error, duplicate payment, or a verified service issue.
If you cancel your plan, your cancellation will usually take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not normally be refunded for unused time in an active subscription period.
Credit top-ups are typically non-refundable once purchased and added to your account, because they are intended for immediate or future platform usage.
However, if you were charged incorrectly, received duplicate top-ups, or experienced a verified payment issue, you may contact us for review.
Guftagu deducts credits only for successful AI replies. Failed AI replies and human replies do not consume credits. Because of this, usage is already measured conservatively, and refund requests based only on expected-but-unused AI activity may not be approved.
If you believe credits were deducted incorrectly, please contact us with account details and the relevant date range so we can review the usage history.

We aim to review refund-related requests within a reasonable timeframe. If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed back to the original payment method, subject to payment gateway and banking timelines.
